Janet Jones
Secretary, School Board Representative
Janet and her husband, Donavan, have called Raymore their home since 2014. As a blended family, they have a younger son who goes to school in the Ray-Pec District and three 2023 Ray-Pec alumni.
Janet attended Oak Grove Public Schools and graduated in 1998. She began her career in the financial industry in 1997 and worked in the field until 2015, when she chose to stay at home to care for her kids.
Over the years, Janet has been an active volunteer within the Ray-Pec community. She has served on the Citizens Advisory Committee, the Substance Abuse Reduction Committee, and the Ray-Pec Athletic Booster Club as a chairperson for the Prowlers dance team and cheer team.
In April 2024, Janet was elected to the Ray-Pec Board of Education. In addition to her board responsibilities, she also volunteers on the PTA Board at Bridle Ridge and is pursuing her Associate Degree.
