CLASSROOM IMPACT GRANTS
The Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation invites teachers and staff to apply for grants of $50 to $750 to supplement the classroom and provide ways to enhance teaching and learning. Grant requests should impact student achievement. These grants are offered twice a year - spring and fall.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation invites Ray-Pec seniors to apply for $500 scholarships each spring. Our Scholarship initiative for the 23-24 school year is $12,750. RAY-PEC CARES
Ray-Pec Cares is a state registered prevention coalition and an outreach of the Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation. We strive to provide a system of care for the students and families of the Raymore-Peculiar School District by meeting physical, emotional and social needs that allow our students and families to live successful and meaningful lives.
CAN
Caring About Nutrition provides healthy and child-friendly food for students on weekends throughout the year. Every week volunteers sort and log donations before pulling items for that week’s bags. Each Thursday, a group of volunteers pack the food, and other volunteers distribute it to our schools.
BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS
The Ray-Pec Public School Foundation and Ray-Pec School District are partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City! Big Brothers Big Sisters creates and supports life-changing friendships between children facing adversity in the Kansas City area with caring, adult mentors. Little Brothers and Little Sisters who are matched with a "Big" are proven to receive better grades, have higher self-esteem and be more likely to reach their full potential.
To learn how your student may participate as a Little Brother or Little Sister, visit the Big Brothers Big Sisters website or contact your student's school counselor. If you are interested in participating as a Big Brother. a Big Sister, or a Big Couple, you may visit the website or contact Jodie Huston, Foundation Executive Director.
You Matter Ray-Pec
The mission of #YouMatterRayPec is rooted in the need to come together as a community to serve our youth and to remind them they are loved, cared for, supported, and heard.
