The Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation will honor Coralie Price and Jason Wood on Friday, February 6, with a special reception and halftime recognition during the Varsity Boys Basketball game. Please join us as we celebrate their lasting impact on Raymore-Peculiar and beyond.

Coralie (Gill) Price – RPHS Class of 1998
Coralie Price is a Spanish teacher at Raymore-Peculiar High School. She began her teaching career here in 2003. She graduated from Ray-Pec in 1998. In high school, she was a member of Chamber Choir, Band, National Honor Society, Student Council, International Club, Scholar Bowl, and Track & Field. She was also a National Merit Finalist.
After graduation, she attended Truman State University, where she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish in 2002 and her Master’s in Education in 2004. During her time at Truman State, she was active in Sigma Delta Pi, the Spanish Honor Society, and served as president her senior year. She also earned an Education Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University in 2008.
During her time teaching at Ray-Pec, Coralie has taught Spanish 1–4, including dual credit courses through UMKC. She has worked with student extracurricular activities, coaching Scholar Bowl, serving as a junior class sponsor, and recently took on the role of Assistant Student Senate Sponsor. She has been active behind the scenes as a part of the Scholarship Selection Committee, National Honor Society selection committee, and the Building Leadership Team. She has also traveled with students to Europe several times over the past 23 years. She has been delighted to contribute to the theater department by playing her flute in the pit orchestra for several recent productions.
In 2008, Coralie married Scott Price. Their two boys, Ky and Larry, are students at South Middle and the Ninth Grade Center. Ky and Larry are involved in many activities, giving Coralie opportunities to volunteer with students, working as a mom not just as a teacher. In her free time, she sings with a group that performs in costume at the Renaissance Festival and switches to Victorian costumes to perform as Christmas carolers. She is active in their church, Covenant Presbyterian, serving on the session and as chair of the Christian Education Committee.
